
Dr. Adams is very active in the Wasaga Beach community; she was an active board member of the Chamber of Commerce for 10 years and was on the executive for the Wasaga Beach Women’s Business Association for 5 years. She won the business woman of the year award in 2009. In 2012, Beach Chiropractic won the Professional Service Business of the Year Award and in 2013 Dr. Adams won the Community Relations award presented by the Ontario Chiropractic Association. In 2017, Dr. Sarah moved Beach Chiropractic to 1535 Mosley and completely renovated the building’s interior and exterior. Her hard work paid off and Beach Chiropractic won the Chamber of Commerce’s Renovated Business of the Year award in 2018.
Dr. Adams is very passionate about inspiring people to make positive lifestyle and health changes. She has drawn from her extensive experience in both sports medicine and from competing nationally to develop her popular Beach Chiropractic running clinics. These programs are very dear to her heart and she is very proud that she has been able to help 100's of people, from those just learning to accomplished runners. Dr. Adams is happily married and shares an active lifestyle with her husband Richard who is also a chiropractor. She is an avid runner, mountain biker, and skier and practices yoga and ballet regularly.
In addition to traditional chiropractic methods, Dr. Adams uses a variety of gentle, yet effective techniques, including the Activator and Thompson table. These techniques are well suited to patients not comfortable with traditional chiropractic methods. Dr. Adams is also certified to perform acupuncture; she received her acupuncture certification with the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute in 2004. She also uses the class 4 laser, interferential current, ultrasound, instrument assisted and manual soft tissue therapy.
